Today I am back with my new post which is based on cloud computing and their types.
Let's Start!
Whenever you travel on a train or bus, you take a ticket for your destination and hold back to your seat till you reach your destination. Likewise, other passengers also take ticket and travel on the same bus with you and it hardly brothers you where they go. They go. When your stop comes you get off the bus. Cloud computing is just like that bus, carrying data and information for different users and allows to use its service at minimal cost.
The word cloud literally makes us think of metrological cloud in the sky. But technically speaking cloud refers to a set of devices connected using the Internet.
A basic definition of cloud computing is the use of the Internet of the tasks you perform o your computer. The "Cloud" represents the Internet. WEe can also connect our devices like desktop, laptop or mobile to cloud system using the Internet. We all have experienced cloud computing at some instant of time, some of the popular cloud services we have used or we are still using our mail service like Gmail.
Why Cloud Computing?
With the increase in computer and mobile user's data storage has a become a priority in all fields. Large and small-scale business today require to store their data. For that, they spent a huge amount of money to maintain this data. It requires a strong IT support and a service hub. Cloud computing is a cheaper solution.
Cloud computing decreases the hardware and software demand from the user's side. The only thing that user must be able to run is the cloud computing systems interface software, which can be as simple as the web browser, and the cloud networks take care of the rest.
Cloud computing helps small business to convert their maintenance cost in profit. Let's see how?
In an in-house IT server, organisation have to pay a lot of attention and ensure that there are no flaws in the system so that it runs smoothly. It will seek a lot of attention, time and of course money to repair in case of any problems. Whereas, in cloud computing, the service provider takes the complete responsibility of the complication and the technical faults.
Benefits Of Cloud Computing
The potential for cost saving is the major reason for cloud services adoption by many organization cloud computing it has become possible to run IT operations as an outsourced unit without many in-house resources.
The Benefits Of Cloud Computing Are Given Below:→)
- Lower IT infrastructure and computer costs for users
- Improved maintenance
- Fewer maintenance issue
- Instant software update
- Improved compatibility between Operating system
- Backup and recovery
- Performance and scalability
- Increased storage capacity
- Increased data safety
Cloud computing means storing and accessing data or applications over the Internet. This can be done in three ways:→)
- Private Cloud Computing
- Public Cloud Computing
- Hybrid Cloud Computing
1. Private Cloud Computing
The word private means something isolated not known to everyone. To speak technically the private cloud is well-managed cloud inside a protected organisation. The private cloud inside the organisation has a well-defined boundary to protect the cloud. The private clouds are well secured from hackers and intruders. Only the native employees of the organisation can access the cloud the right credentials.
Some of the private clouds by IT companies include →)
- Wipro technologies cloud
- Accenture cloud
- Cisco cloud
- Cognizant technologies cloud
2. Public Cloud Computing
The word public literally refers to open or a common one. A public cloud is open to all the users and to the business world. Any user can register themselves with the public cloud vendor and can become a cloud user.
Some IT companies may not be able to set up their own private cloud hence they depend on the public cloud vendor. The public cloud is designed and managed by the cloud vendor.
Some of the examples of a public cloud include →)
- Amazon Web Services
- Windows Azure
- GoGrid
- Google Cloud
- Cloudbees
- Salesforce
Most of the clouds today are public as any user can easily sign in and use them. They may change or may be free.
3. Hybrid Cloud Computing
The hybrid clouds are the extension to the private cloud by using both the local and remote resources. It is generally used when the capacity or cloud traffic suddenly increases. A hybrid cloud is created when the remote resources are integrated into the private cloud.
